Pat was born to Lydia and Henry Hewitt on January 24, 1949, in Fort Worth. Pat was a cherished member of the Hewitt family, sister to Susan Parker and Eddie Hewitt.
She was a beacon of light and warmth to her family whom she dearly loved. She was one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet, and her kind smile would light up any room.
She loved making crafts, shopping on a Saturday afternoon, listening to country or gospel music, and enjoying time with her family. She loved going to church on Sunday mornings. She was known for the best quesadillas at many of our family gatherings. She never got tired of a Whataburger outing and a chocolate milkshake on a hot afternoon.
A graduate of Trimble Tech High School in 1967, Pat dedicated her life to her career as an administrative assistant at Lone Star Gas Company and Alcon Laboratories Inc.
Pat’s love extended to her daughter Tricia Kelly and son in law Jeff Kelly, who remembers her as a nurturing soul and a loving mother. Her three grandchildren, Bayleigh, Reagen, and Abby along with their spouses, Jalen, Kevin, and Brandi, whom will carry her legacy of kindness and joy.
Predeceased by her parents and her husband Richard Fife, Pat’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her current husband Ken Hinshaw, her daughter and grandchildren, sister Susan, brother Eddie, and a community that was better for her presence.
Services to honor and celebrate the life of Patricia Ann Hinshaw will be held on July 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Memorial Park, located at 7100 Crowley Rd. Fort Worth TX. Following the service, Pat will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
