Patti Lynn Harris

Our mom, Patti Harris, of Fort Worth, TX. left this earth after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She is a warrior, and she is now at rest. Patti grew up in Keller, TX. where she attended Haltom High School. She spent her younger years running around on the family dairy farm in Keller where she remembers her favorite times with her grandmother, Lucy. She worked for PDA (Property Damage Appraisers) and Oncor for many years where she had several wonderful friends that she cherished very much. She left the world peacefully, and her daughters, family, and friends will forever miss her as she left this world far too soon. She still needed more time to play Words with Friends, listen to The Beatles, go shopping with her girls, and spend time with her grandkids. Her favorite places were the ocean and the mountains where she felt peace and solace.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pat Blackmon whom she has missed every day since they have been gone. She is survived by her daughters, Alyson Gerlach and her husband, Roger, Lisa Lusk and her husband, Josh, her sister, Cathy Waugh, and her brother, Jerrell Blackmon and his wife, Kim. She also leaves memories to cherish with her grandchildren, Jason Graham, Heather Graham, Courtney Gerlach, and Brandon Gerlach, as well as her nephews, Steven Huckabay, Ryan Blackmon and his wife, Whitney, and Reagan Blackmon along with her great-nephews, Camden and Beckham.

A memorial service for Patti will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
