Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Paul was born March 13, 1934, in Everman. He retired from Texas Steel after 29 years and then retired from Miller Brewing Company after 26 years as a maintenance electrician. Paul was a 32nd-degree Mason and celebrated his 50-year membership. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vera Fields; two sisters, Vera Lee Roberson and Patsy Phillips; brother-in-law, Eddie Browning.
Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Martha Fields; son, Gregg Fields and wife, Kelli; grandchildren, Aidyn Fields and Ian Fields; sister, Carol Sue Kelsey and husband, Fred; brother, George Edward Fields and wife, Kim; sister-in-law, Nancy Browning; nieces, Tracey and Amy; and many, many friends.
