Service: 3 p.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes, with visitation at 2 p.m. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Polly was born in Florence, Miss., on Oct. 25, 1926. She moved with her family to Shreveport, La., where she spent most of her life. Polly moved from Shreveport to Houston in 1977 and later to Fort Worth in 2005. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Polly worked as a beautician for many years and later as a school secretary. She loved working in the garden, writing poetry, playing skip-bo and dominoes. She had many friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse L. Harper.
Survivors: Sons, Ronnie L. Harper (Christy) of Baton Rouge, La., Gregory L. Harper (Rebecca) of Fort Worth and David L. Harper(Laurie) of Altoona, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many other family members; and friends.
