Mrs. Peggy "Joyce" Elmore

Peggy “Joyce” Elmore, of Fort Worth, passed away November 6th, 2024. She was born in Itasca, Texas on February 1rst, 1930. She was married to Billy Ray Elmore on April 3rd, 1950. Joyce was a devoted Charter member of Grace Baptist Church since 1958. She had a passion for volunteer work. Taking part in many programs such as, nursing home ministry, prayer group, being Sunday school secretary, preparing funeral meals, and helping in the church nursery.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Elmore; son, David Elmore; sisters, Mary Thomas, Jewel Lambert, Jane Collins, and Dorothy Pruett; brothers, Melvin and James Wigginton; and her parents, Eli and Sarah Wigginton.

She is survived by her son, Michel and wife Vickie Elmore; grandchildren, Jason, Valerie, Colby, and Tommy; and great-grandchildren, Kyler, Emma, Lukas, Jaxson, Henry, Ellie, and Kaleb.

A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134 on Monday, November 11th, 2024, from 5PM to 8PM. A Celebration of Life will take place at Grace Baptist Church, 5101 Jim Wright Freeway, Fort Wort, TX 76108, Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, at 10AM with committal to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
