Day is done, gone the sun, from the sea, from the hills, from the sky, all is well, safely rest, God is nigh. Percy Lee Thomas, a retired sergeant in the United States Air Force, heard the bugler's "Taps" that beckoned him to his heavenly home Thursday, June 25, 2015, in the comfort of his residence, with his loving wife of 67 glorious years at his side.
Service: Sgt. Thomas' life will be remembered at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation: Friends may visit Sgt. Thomas noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors.
Survivors: Left with fond and precious memories are his wife, Erma Jean; children, Shelia and Regina Thomas; sisters; brothers; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
