Petra was born September 9, 1940 in Silver City, New Mexico. She earned her diploma from Western High School. Petra married Enrique Trevino Rodriguez in 1962 in California, together they had 2 sons.
Petra was a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed fishing, crotchet and making trips to the Winstar Casino. She had a fulfilling career working in the public school system.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose & Petra, her husband, her brothers Ramon, Alfonso, Paul and Manuel, and sisters Helen, Maxine, Beatrice and Cecelia.
She is survived by her two sons, Gilbert Rodriguez (Vera) and Greg Rodriguez, granddaughters Amber, Brianna, Alyssa and great granddaughters Ellen and Jolene, and her brothers, Eddy and Frank.
A Rosary & Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, US, on May 12, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, US, on May 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
