FORT WORTH -- Phyllis May (Harding) Rice, 97, passed away June 23, 2011. Memorial Service: Tuesday, July 5 at 11 a.m., Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Phyllis was born April 12, 1914 in Byfleet, Surrey, England to Charles Henry and May Harding. She emigrated to Canada in 1935 and married Robert Campbell Rice September 14, 1935 in Toronto. Phyllis and her family emigrated to the USA in 1957 and worked at Stamford Savings Bank in Stamford, CT until her retirement in 1976. She moved to Texas in 1996 and was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1995. Survivors: Daughters Melodie O'Connell of Fort Worth and Gwen Romano of Norwalk, CT; Brother Cyril Harding of Haslemere, Surrey, England; Grandchildren: Robert O'Connell, Kimberly Kanzler, Kelley Mallozzi and James O'Connell and 8 great-grandchildren.
