Ralph " Butch" Head, 91, passed away Saturday Nov 2, 2019. Funeral Service: 12:30 pm Thursday Nov 7, 2019 at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: 11:30 am -12:30 pm Thursday hour prior to service. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Ralph graduated high school from Lone Oak in 1945. He served as a cook in the United States Air Force during WWII. After his discharge he began working at Texas Steel. He retired after 35 years. He met and married Mary Charles in 1970. They lived in Burleson until his retirement. In 1985 they moved to Lake Granbury. He went to work at Brown & Root until Charlie's retirement in 1994. Butch love to fish, and go to gambling. Every night he loved to have popcorn and a coke. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Effie Head; and sister, Maxine Head. He is survived by his wife Charlie Head of Granbury; sons, Tibby Gray and wife Lynda of Crowley, and Michael Gray of Hawkins, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Gray and wife Bronwyn of Acton, Amy Gray Hughes and husband Howard of Burleson; great grandchildren, Cooper and Carter Gray of Acton, Tibby Magnolia and Huxton Hughes of Burleson; brother, Billy Head of Mansfield; niece, Toni Head of Mansfield; nephew, Steve Head of Mansfield; special niece, Rhonda Dale of Granbury; and many other nieces, nephews, brother-in- laws, and sister-in-laws.
