Raquel B. Garcia

A Visitation for Raquel will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Raquel was born August 14, 1941 to Donicio and Dolores B. Garcia. She worked as a Laundry Tech for John Peter Smith Hospital for 31 years. She was involved in many churches and loved Jesus with all her heart.

Raquel is preceded in death by her parents Donicio and Dolores B. Garcia, son Randy De La Cruz, (ex- husband) Antonio F. Ayala, her brothers Guillermo, Ramon, Lucio, Juan, Manuel, and sister Flora B. Rios.

Raquel is survived by her daughters Delphie (Tommy Whiteman), Ester Ayala, Ludivina (Paul Cantu), Becky (James Vega), sons Rudy and Ramon G. Ayala; grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Chazarreta, Ruben Hernandez Jr., Dago Gallegos, James Vega, Ramon Antonio Ayala Jr., Anthony De La Cruz, Joseph De La Cruz and Ray De La Cruz.
