She was born in El Uribeno, Texas on January 30, 1940. Raquel graduated from Zapata High School.
She was married to Santiago Guajardo on May 1, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas.
She was a member of Jehovah Witness and had a passion for sewing and mariachi music and making beautiful dresses for herself and her daughter Linda.
Raquel is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.
She was survived by her husband Santiago Guajardo, her daughter Linda Guajardo-Lemus, her son-in-law Celestino Lemus, her grandchildren Ian Matthew Guajardo Lemus and many other relatives and friends.
