

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Raymond Knuffke, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 6, 2010, in the presence of his wife, Dolores; eight children and their spouses; 31 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Please join us in celebration of Raymond's life at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to immediately to follow; the family will receive friends until 8 p.m.

Ray was a veteran of World War II, serving as a proud Marine on Guadalcanal, and was an alumnus of Regis Catholic College in Denver, Colo. Ray and Dolores proudly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 8, 2009. His marriage and family were the highest achievements of his life.
Survivors: Wife, Dolores Knuffke of North Richland Hills; children, Mary Dietz of Arlington, Michael Knuffke of San Antonio, Jane Barnes of El Paso, Judith Anderson of Keller, Greg Knuffke of Benicia, Calif., Kathleen Gianvito of Candler, N.C., Andrea Knuffke-Blanco of Plano and Brad Knuffke of San Antonio; 31 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Floyd Knuffke of Fresno, Calif.
