

Rebecca Rexroat-Miller passed away on September 14, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. Rebecca was born on March 12, 1977 in San Antonio, Texas to Larry and Kathy Rexroat. Rebecca graduated from Haltom High School in 1995 and was an accomplished musician and a gifted flutist. Her dedication to music was recognized and awarded with many individual as well as group honors. She went on to receive a music scholarship and attend Texas Christian University School of Music earning her Bachelors of Science in Music Education in May of 1999. After earning her degree, she went on to become the Assistant Director of Bands in Arlington, Northwest and Saginaw ISDs. God led her to make the decision to transition from teaching band to Elementary Music in Fort Worth ISD at E. M. Daggett Elementary. Many of us can trace our lives back to one small moment in time and this was the moment for Rebecca. Dawn (Peterson) Patino quickly got to know Rebecca and instantly knew that she had to introduce Rebecca to Kendall who worked at another school. They began dating and then they were married on July 12, 2008 in Fort Worth.
Rebecca loved “her boys” Kendall and Josh, the strength and love of God.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, father, and an infant sister Robin. She is survived her husband Kendall and 11 year old son Joshua, and her border terrier Sadie. Survivors also include her Sister Laura Sink and husband Robert of Fort Worth. Mother-in-law Beverly Miller Sister-in-law Christine Miller, Lori (Tim) Gamerdinger, nieces and nephews Amy (Adam) Jeffers and Amber (Dustin) Lacina of Wisconsin.
