Rich was a close dear friend of mine. We were neighbors when I lived in Fort Worth from 2013 to 2021, and I enjoyed spending time with him. And even though I now live in Arizona, I stopped by for a visit on my way through last summer. He was so full of wonderful information and history! I truly admired him and I am going to miss him immensely. He is the one who encouraged me to take my mom on a cruise to Alaska and I did! I just returned and I wished someone had reached out to let me know that he had passed. The last we spoke, he was going in for a heart procedure and I told him I was praying for him, like I always did when I thought of him; which was often.  After his wife Pat passed in 2015, I enjoyed having him over for Thanksgiving and Easter meals, so we could break bread and share a meal together; he loved chocolate cream pie! He will be truly missed! I am heartbroken for the family.  He was such a treasure. God bless ~Anji Jack

Dear Richard Wells Family,  I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Your Dad was not only my good friend these last 3  1/2 years since my wife passed away, but he was also like a father to me and one of my heroes in life with His outstanding military service and patriotism! He was a true American and a true American Hero!!! I love and miss him so very much!!! Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us and I can't wait to see him in Heaven!!! Sorry for your loss, Rich was one of the 2 Flight Chiefs I met when I first started in the Air Force and  arrived at Carswell in 79.  He and Roy Rodgers let you know you weren't at home anymore with your Mom and Dad,  but he took care of you like you were family. Will miss him.
