"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race" Rickey Turner Sr, a retired Engineer with the Fort Worth Fire Department, passed away Sunday July 10, 2016 with his loving family at his side. Funeral: His Life will be Celebrated, 1:30 p.m. Saturday July 16, at Beth-Eden Baptist Church 3208 Wilbarger Street. Dr. B.R. Daniels pastor,officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Cemetery, with honors. Visitation: Friends of Mr. Turner may visit him, Friday 2-5 p.m. at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors ,and at 7:00 p.m. the family will greet friends at First Saint John Cathedral. 2401 E. Berry Street. Survivors: Left in the caring hands of the Almighty; his loving and devoted wife Sheila Turner, children; Rickey C. Turner Jr. Christina Hanson(Antonio) two brothers; Eugene Turner(Lois), Val Finley, sister; Varnasa Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends.
