

Rita was a resident of Watauga, Texas.
Rita Haskins was born on September 23, 1953, and passed away on December 21, 2025; at the age of 72. She lived a life defined by love, quiet strength, and deep devotion to family.
Rita was the daughter of Ouida F. Haskins (April 18, 1923 – March 12, 1992) and Curtis Haskins. As a daughter and later as a caregiver, she gave of herself with grace, patience, and unwavering responsibility, never seeking recognition for the care she so freely gave.
She graduated from Paris High School in 1972 and later pursued nursing education. Rita dedicated decades of her professional life to public service, working as a Child Support Officer with the Office of the Attorney General in Paris, Texas, where she served families with diligence, fairness, and compassion. She later retired after many years of committed service.
Rita was the proud mother of four children: Tyeisha Haskins, Misty Nichols, Brandi Bills, and Brandon Haskins. She shared a deep and meaningful bond with each of her children, expressed in different ways but rooted in the same unwavering love.
Gentle in spirit and intentional in how she lived, Rita cherished her home, her routines, and the presence of her family. In her later years, she was cared for with the same love she had always given, remaining where she felt most at peace—home.
Rita preceded in death by her Parents and Siblings, Chequita Finnie Paris, TX and Larry Haskins, Fort Worth, TX.
Rita is survived by her children, Tyeisha Haskins, Misty Nichols, Brandi Bills, and Brandon Haskins.
Grandchildren: Khalil Haskins, Amari Haskins, Landyn Mathis, Azarian Bills, Ahmad Bills, Brayden Haskins.
Her brother Clarence Ware of Balch Springs, Texas, her neices, nephews and extended family and loved ones.
Her life was a testament to love in action.
