Robert "Bob" Eugene Haas, 90, passed away December 3, 2017. Service: 12:30 pm Friday December 8, 2017 at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday at Laurel Land. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Bob was born in Abilene, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He served his country during WWII defending the Panama Canal and was a long time member of Genesis United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. He retired from General Dynamics with over 30 years of service. Bob enjoyed serving the community in various capacities including Scout Master of Troop #409 of the Boy Scouts of America. Bob was also known as " HeHe" and "PaPa" by his loving grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Robert is preceded in death by wife Vera Haas; and daughter, Cheryl Winton. Survivors: He is survived by his sons, Robert W and wife Karyn Haas, and Rodney and wife Wendy; aunt, Gladys Naylor; son-in-law, Jack Winton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous family members.
