My grandpapa used to always call me George, a name he gave me when I was little that just stuck, and it always made me laugh no matter what. I’ll miss the nickname and I’ll miss him, but I am forever grateful for all the laughter and the smiles he gave me.  -Faith (aka George :) ) 

Papa you were the best example of strength and determination! A talented painter,  A truly good man that loved your family fiercely. We will miss you until we meet again!

My Papa, you will surely be missed. When I think about the time I have spent with you, fishing will always come first to mind. The weeks we spent together at Lake Fork will be memories that I will always treasure.  I’m not sure who cried more, my Dad or Uncle Larry, when you out fished them but I promise to do my best to keep them both in the back of the boat. 
I will love and miss you always Papa. Until we meet again, keep that rod tip up and the line tight. 

You were always bigger than life to me papa...when Ryan was old enough to talk and remember who people were I remember he looked up the stairs, saw you coming down and exclaimed in awe "The Grandfather!" Ha! We still tell that story when we all get together.  I'm so glad he and Hayley got to have their great papa in their lives.  And Noah got his great great papa for his first 2 years, and  we will make sure he hears all about his greatest papa as he gets older.
When I think back... I always remember when I was young and would visit you and grannie, you would eat all of our cookies lol.  But of course we helped you sneak cookies when Grannie wasn't looking. Lol
I can still hear you singing  neon moon ... and the whole world turns, bluuue.  And I am pretty sure we all have your paintings... they are my favorites...you had a special talent for sure. 

And when you and grannie moved to Houston I was blessed to be able to see you both more. You came to workout at our gym with Patrick and I  and I will always remember that you told me , Tracie...you keep on walking, and don't stop...just keep moving.  I will do that papa. Even if it hurts lol.

You will be sorely missed papa, but definitely never forgotten.  We all love you.
