Roberto Flores Gonzalez October 24, 1934-May 11, 2019 “This world is not my house, I’m just passing through” Roberto “Beto” Flores Gonzalez, 84, one of ten brothers and sisters. Born to Felipa Gonzalez de Flores + and Leonides Flores Rendon +. He died peacefully while he slept. Survived by his wife of 59 years; Angelica Flores and their children; Irene F. Cornish, Juan Roberto Flores +, Imelda Mathews, Leonides Flores, Leopoldo Flores, Angelica F. Rodriguez; grandchildren; Stephen Brandon Cornish, Mayra Alejandra and Johnny Flores, Eric, Eddie, Edwin and Elizabeth Rodriguez, Leonides Raymond, Aaron and Laura Elizabeth Flores, Leopoldo Jr. and Brian Xavier Flores, Corina Angelica, Marco Antonio and Daniel Rodriguez and 13 great grandchildren. He worked as a public accountant for the secretary of hydraulic resources in San Miguel de Camargo, Mexico. In 1971 he moved with his family of six children and wife to Fort Worth, TX where he started a new welding career. His hobbies consisted of reading books, playing chess, solitaire, dominoes, grilling, listening to music and watching baseball games and cowboy movies. In his childhood he learned from his parents at the ranch, about the cattle and the crops. Your details and way of being will always be sealed in our minds. We will never forget you, we will love you, and we will always remember you. Nor will we forget the sacrifices that you made in this life for us. Until we are reunited again in glory with God. The observance and the Rosary will be celebrated this Wednesday, May 15th from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16th at 10am in the Main Chapel at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery at 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134 817-293-1350.

Roberto Flores González 24 de octubre de 1934-11 de mayo de 2019 “Este mundo no es mi casa, solo estoy pasando por el” Roberto “Beto” Flores González, de 84 años, uno de diez hermanos (as). Nacido a Felipa González de Flores + y Leonides Flores Rendón +. Murió pacíficamente mientras dormía. Le sobreviven su esposa de 59 años; Angélica Flores y sus hijos: Irene F. Cornish, Juan Roberto Flores +, Imelda Mathews, Leonides Flores, Leopoldo Flores, Angélica F. Rodríguez; 15 nietos Stephen Brandon Cornish, Mayra Alejandra and Johnny Flores, Eric, Eddie, Edwin and Elizabeth Rodríguez, Leonides Raymond, Aaron and Laura Elizabeth Flores, Leopoldo Jr. and Brian Xavier Flores, Corina Angélica, Marco Antonio and Daniel Rodríguez y 13 bisnietos. Trabajo como contador público para la secretaria de recursos hidráulicos en San Miguel de Camargo, Mexico. En 1971 se mudó con su familia de seis hijos y su esposa a Fort Worth, Texas. Donde comenzó otra nueva carrera como soldador. Sus pasatiempos consistían en leer libros, jugar ajedrez, solitario y domino, asar a la parrilla, escuchar música, ver partidos de béisbol y películas de vaqueros. En su infancia aprendió de sus padres en el rancho el ganado y los cultivos. Tus detalles y forma de ser siempre estarán sellados en nuestras mentes. Nunca te olvidaremos, te amaremos, siempre recodaremos. Tampoco olvidaremos los sacrificios que hiciste en esta vida por nosotros. Hasta entonces mi querido padre, quien en la gloria “Dios” nos encontrara. La observancia y el rosario se celebrarán esta miércoles 15 de mayo a las 6-8pm. El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo el jueves 16 de mayo a las 10am en la capilla principal del cementerio Laurel Land Funeral Home 7100 Crowley Road Fort Worth Texas 76134 817-293-1350.
