I met Robin in 1993 when I went to work for The Trust Deed Corp before it became BrooksAmerica. I have so many memories of Robin. She was a force to be reckoned with. She was funny (with the best laugh), a little crazy, an amazing boss, mentor, and  friend. Robin and I stayed in touch over the years. I enjoyed our time together when I'd come to Dallas to visit her. We saw each other more regularly when I lived there for a bit. The last time I saw Robin was right before the holidays in 2023. She scolded me for completing too much of her puzzle she was working on. 🤣 There was never a dull moment with Robin. The woman gave a whole new meaning to "shop till you drop"! I could write a book just on that topic. We had an exchange on a FB post the week before she passed about her coming to Cali for a visit. I'll wrap up with saying that my heart breaks for Vincent. I'm still in shock and so bummed about the flight delays that didn't allow us to make it to her services. I love you, Robin. Cheers to seeing you on the other side some day. 🩷🙏

I worked with Robin for many years at FAMC. She was the best! She was supportive and kind and she would make me laugh and smile at times when I really needed it.  She always showed her gratitude and appreciation for my work.  She once gave me a very nice bottle of  white wine and explained to me that I needed to get a bag of frozen peaches so after work on hot days , grab the wine and toss in the frozen peaches. I tried it and got hooked on white wine and peaches and still enjoy this every Summer. After I moved from Dallas and became a remote employee, I visited Dallas a few times and Robin insisted on taking me to lunch and giving me a nice bottle of wine. We shared pictures of our pups and we kept in touch with text messages after she retired. I was thinking about her about a month ago when I bought a bag of frozen peaches and realized that I needed to catch up with her. I’m so very grateful for her friendship and send my sincere condolences to her son & family.

She was such a joy to have around. Her contagious laughter and warm spirit will be truly missed.

I posted a few words on Facebook about our friendship going back over 20 years and continuing into forever. She will always be my dear friend! We worked together, we traveled to Vegas once…yes she dragged me on a shopping trip! We spent many an evening at happy hour or dinner. We even still go to the same hair stylist and have for atleast those 20 years.  I’ve been at her house many times and still envision her in the kitchen pouring us a glass of wine. 

I have so many memories and I have so much love and gratitude for us ever coming into each others life. How did I get so lucky?!

I love you Robin. Your presence has changed my life in such a beautiful way.
