Romana Contreras

Romana was born March 11, 1948, too Maria Luisa Ruiz and Eulogio Cisneros in Buena Vista Sabinas Hidalgo Nuevo León, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Rodolfo Contreras Garcia on February 19, 1970.

Romana’s delight and greatest achievement was her family. She was a loving homemaker who created a home filled with warmth, faith, peace, laughter, and unequivocal love. She found her greatest purpose in being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always putting her family before herself. She shared God’s love through her kindness, empathy, and unwavering faith. Her smile made everyone feel welcome, and those who knew her will forever remember the comfort, love, and joy she brought into their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Jacob; and nephew, Jesse.

Romana is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rodolfo and her daughter, Norma Contreras; daughter, Maria Contreras and Daniel Ray; daughter, Yvette and Pedro Monterrosa; son, Rodolfo and Sandra Contreras; daughter, Mariela Contreras; daughter, Perla Contreras and Augustin; son, Ricardo Contreras; her grandchildren,

Celeste and Aidan, Eddie, Angel, Quinton, David, Rain, Sky, Adrian, Alyna, Matthew, Idaly, and Mia; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Josiah, Adelina, Rose.
