Ron Alley passed into the arms of Jesus, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family and close friends.
A proud graduate of Purdue University, Ron had a successful career in the US Air Force including tours of Viet Nam and Thailand. In 1983, he retired as Major and began a second career at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Fort Worth, TX as a Senior Special Investigator until his retirement in 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marian Alley of Lafayette, IN.
Ron was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, Fort Worth, TX where he served as Trustee, member of the Missions Board, and traveled to Mexico to help construct mission churches.
Ron is survived by his wife, Donna, of 31 years whom he always called “My Special Lady” and “My Bride”. They always walked hand in hand and heart to heart.
He is survived by his four children. Tracy Stafford and husband, Parker; Ron Alley and wife, Julie; Lisa Cram and husband, Barry; Kristi Glasscock and husband, Edward. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Burris and brother-in-law, Bob.
As a Papa, Ron is survived by 10 grandchildren. Randi and Blake Alley and wife, Kelly, Harrison, Grayson, and Lauren Cram, Austin and Audie Glasscock, Taylor Kubala and husband, Tyler, Bailey Butler, Reese Stafford, and one great grandchild, Tate Alley.
Ron was an Eagle Scout and loved fly fishing, skydiving, scuba diving, water and snow skiing, ziplining, building projects, antique cars and, most of all loving, spending time and supporting his grandchildren in all their activities.
He will be forever loved, remembered, and missed. God gained His amazing creation!
A visitation for Ronald will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 1501 Jim Wright Fwy, Fort Worth, TX 76108. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
