Ronald Herald Knight

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 14, 1943.

He married Joanna Knight on March 18, 1995, and they were married for 31 wonderful years.

He served in the Air Force for four years before beginning a career with Alcon, where he worked for 30 years as a maintenance engineer before retirement.

He had a passion for tinkering on projects, "He could fix anything!" He loved playing poker with his buddies. He had a spirit for others and loved to make people laugh.

Ron was a wonderful provider, a man who loved this country, loved God, and loved his family. He cherished his wife, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clifford and Ethel Knight; and his brother Deene Howard Knight.

Ron is survived by his wife Joanna Knight; his sons, Ronald Edward Knight and Shawn David Knight; his sister, Julia Ann Shoup of Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
