Rosa Lee Bolen

A Visitation for Rosa will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, with a Funeral Service starting at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Rosa was born in Erick, OK to Virgie Naomi Coker and John Roy Fennell on July 23, 1933. She went to school at Seminole. She married James Yates for 18 years on October 1, 1953, in Ft. Bliss El Paso, TX, then she remarried to James Bolen. She graduated from Seminole High School. She worked as a Restaurant Manager for Dos Gringos for 20. She was involved in Secretary of the Boy Scouts, and she liked gardening.

Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, of first marriage, James Yates and second marriage James Bolen, and her grandson Robert Biggs II.

Rosa is survived by her daughter Debra, spouse Robert Biggs, Kathleen and Derek Biggs and their children Emma and Charlotte Biggs, Tiffany and her children Blaire Elaine and Bonnie Lynn Biggs, Jill Biggs and daughter Jaycee Rocha, Lisa and Keelan Spalding and their children Katelin and Jonathan Barr, Madison and Joey Case, Brant and Dakota Spalding, Hanna and Ally Spalding. Great Grandchildren, Harison Case and Elena Aguilar. Nieces and Nephews Sue Ogle, Ginger Stottlemyer, Scott Fennell, Lesha Hurst Dugger and Britt Hurst.

Pallbearers will be Michael Harmon, Josh Biggs, John Douglas Biggs, Jonny Giffy, Ryan Wells and Shane Griffin.
