Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church, the Rev. Maverick Gayden host and the Rev. Samuel Littlejohn eulogist. Visitation: Mr. Ward's friends may visit him noon to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, with the family present 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Survivors: Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Florida Collins Ward; son, Roscoe R. Ward; daughters, Sonjii Ward Jones(Timothy), Anyatta Ward Williams (Daniel); brother, Tyrone Ward; sisters, Thelma Alexander, Betty Fields (Munson); grandchildren, Dawan Ward, Shassidi Ward, Breyon Ward; great-grandson, Kai Wayne Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
