Ms. Roselind Lashelle Brooks

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Roselind Brooks, who departed this life on March 30, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of Betty and Robert Lee Brooks, proud and devoted mother of Anthony Brooks and Anton Brooks, doting grandmother of Amyra ,Ava,Alaya and Angel Brooks,who were the center of her world. the oldest sister to Racheal Brooks and Ratasha Brooks, a loving sister to her brothers Donald Simmons, Darrell O’Brien, and Robert D. Brooks, a dear aunt to a host of amazing nieces and nephews, a dedicated co-worker, a mentor, and a true friend.

Born on October 24, 1970, Roselind was a proud graduate of Green B. Trimble Tech High School—a Bulldog for life. She carried that same fierce determination and loyalty into every aspect of her life, especially in her career as a nurse, where she cared for countless patients with a heart full of love and hands that healed. She was more than a nurse; she was a nurturer, a protector, and, to many, everybody’s big sister.

To know Roselind was to love her. She had a way of making everyone feel like family, offering wisdom, strength, and laughter whenever it was needed most. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love will forever remain in our hearts.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on in the lives she touched. May we honor her legacy by loving fiercely, giving generously, and always looking out for one another—just as she did.
