Naomi's strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through 4 years of her valiant fight with lung cancer. Even throughout her own struggle with cancer, she continued to bear witness, encourage others and share testimonies everywhere she went. Naomi clung to God's word, her favorite verse was Philippians 4:13-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Naomi was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church and community. Naomi will be especially remembered for her fiery spirit and the legacy she left behind.
While we mourn for our loss, we rejoice for Naomi in heaven meeting her Lord. She knew that death is not a loss but a gain; and that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
