Ruby D. Davis moved to Fort Worth, Texas at an early age, she attended James E. Guinn Elementary. Ruby D. Davis went on to I. M, Terrell High School.

Mrs. Ruby D. Davis was a member of Greater Saint Stephen First Church 3728 East Berry St. under Pastor Bell.

Ruby D. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lee Davis; parents, Lillian C. Hicks and N. O Williams; child, Earnest Dwyane Davis; grandchildren, Arteisa Jones and Nateisha Jones

Ruby D. Davis leaves behind to cherish her memory; her children, Rodney Lee Davis, Tammy Antoinette Davis; daughter -in-law, Shawn Davis; grandchildren, Mia Davis, Divine Davis, Dewayne Davis, Dmarion Davis, Dmonyae Davis, Destiny Lynn Davis, Amani Davis, Azyiah Tillman, Rodney Davis, Jr. Reilly Davis, Syer Davis, Prince Rohaun, Annashea Tillman Davis Desire and Damien Davis; brother, David Hicks; sisters, Kathleen Warren, Bennie Anderson, Sandra Anderson and Patricia Hicks; god children, Timothy Craver and Carol Davis, Jr.; great grandchildren; lifetime of long life friends; long time companion and friend Sam Johnson; and a host of cousins, Neil, Delorise Neil and other cousins, nieces and nephews.
