Ruby Rosario Macias

A Visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with Deacon Pete Rodriguez officiating. Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Ruby was born on September 21, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas. She was the heart of a large and loving family, and her presence brought warmth, strength, and joy to all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny Macias Sr., and her children: Eddie Esquivel, Johnny Macias Jr., Melissa Macias, Cynthia Macias, Jennifer Perez, and Rachel Macias. Ruby was also a proud grandmother to 22 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 23 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Patricia Ramos Macias.

Ruby will be remembered for her generous heart, the unconditional love she gave so freely, and the deep devotion she poured into her family. Her life was guided by compassion, kindness, and a fierce loyalty to those she loved.

Ruby’s life was a beautiful testament to resilience, love, and the strength of family. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered with everlasting love.
