I have known Granny for many years. She was such a fighter and such a wonderful and funny soul. I saw alot of where Aunt Kay got her humor from. While my heart is heavy for the family she has left behind, I'm so thankful she's no longer suffering and that she is with our Lord and Savor and she is reunited with those who went before her.

Amanda and Carrie and Families -- I'm praying for peace, comfort, strength, and for direction on moving forward. It's VERY hard losing someone that you have taken care of for so long. Know that you are all loved and that I'm here for you if I can do anything for you. Love ya'll bunches. RIP Granny your legacy will live on through your Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Granny, I met you 48 years ago after Kay and I became best friends in high school. You and Grady were always so sweet to me when I’d come over to visit. Through all the years, you always had a sweet smile for my family and me. Even when you didn’t feel well you always acknowledged us and asked about the kids and grandchildren. When I saw you a couple of weeks ago I could tell you didn’t feel well. I wish I’d hugged you. I held back because of social distancing. I regret it now. 😓
Although our hearts are heavy with sadness, I am so happy you are reunited with Grady and Kay. What a happy day for all of you. We will always miss your sweet smile and your humor, you kept us laughing, that’s for sure. 😄
We will miss you, however, we will see you again!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Granny,
No words can express my feelings right now. We laugh and thought you would outlive us all! I love and miss you deeply, I have been honored and blessed to take care of you for the last 13 years. You were a wonderful grandmother to me and my siblings and a wonderful great-grandmother to my boys and the other great grands. You were kind hearted, sweet, and happy go lucky. I am missing waking up making your coffee, breakfast, and giving you your daily meds. We know you were tired and fought a strong fight. Go rest now in the arms of Jesus and be reunited with your true love and daughter until we meet again. I love you always.
Love your granddaughter Amanda

Ruth was the strongest person I have ever met in my life. The last few months I have become very close to her. I hate to see her gone, but she was ready and she would tell you so. Like her daughter Kay I learned to love all of her ways even if she was telling me off. And believe me, I had my share of disagreements with her. She lived with Amanda and I for many years, and I will miss her very much. I am lucky to be married to her granddaughter Amanda. And lets just say she has a great family.

Aunt Ruth was the sweetest soul I’ve ever known! I don’t think I ever heard her say a bad word about anyone. She was a Christian to the core !! She loved her family so much and they loved her! I’m so sorry Carrie and Amanda, and all her family for your loss!
