Ruth was the youngest daughter of Dee and Wilma (Weaver) Steininger. She was a guiding light for her family and an inspiration for all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter. Ruth's devotion to her family meant she always made time for those she held dear. She loved to talk, listen, and share in the stories of others. Her compassion has touched our lives and those around her, her faith has been an inspiration, and her kindness and love are her enduring legacy. The echoes of her laughter will sing in our hearts forever.
Survived by her husband, Alan; sons, Brian Marvel (Jennifer) and Jeremy Marvel (Katie); daughters, Jenny Marvel (André) and Heather Wellman (Shawn); grandchildren, Bianca, Alexa, Caden, and Elizabeth; sisters, Carmen Bateman (Ed), Marilyn DeLong (Loren)and Rita Jean Schindler (Norman); brother, James Steininger.
