Sammie Sue Carter passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at a local hospital. Funeral: Noon Wednesday, July 13, at Pleasant Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 5312 Houghton Ave., Fort Worth, 76107. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. You may visit Sue from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the funeral home. The family will receive guests from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Survivors: Children, Tonya Carter, Mark Carter and Tami Carter-Gary (Robert); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
