Scotty was born May 10, 1955, in Fort Worth to Howard and Geraldine Waters. He graduated from Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School in 1973. He was employed by General Motors and proudly retired in 2003 after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Waters.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sue, who remained by his side through the ups and downs of life. He was an amazing father to his daughters, Jennifer Ashford, Kimberly Collins and Amy Waters, and sons-in-law, Justin Ashford and John Collins. Scotty's pride and joy was his grandchildren who loved him very much, Kayla, Kyle, Jared and Jake. He is also survived by his mother, Geraldine; his brothers, Philip and Kelly; and his sister-in-law Vicky.
