Shari B'linda Gordon

Shari Carter Gordon was born on February 4, 1961 to O.L. Carter and A. Louise Bird Carter. She married the love of her life, Mike Gordon, on September 11, 1981 in Slaton, Tx. Shari was working as a Life Insurance Agent at the time of her death. She was a member of Hope Church of Fort Worth.

As a two time breast cancer fighter and survivor, Shari showed her strength while she continued to be a wife to Mike and mother to their two boys. She also exhibited that strength as she cared for Mike after he was diagnosed with ALS, before he passed away in June of 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike.

Shari is survived by her two sons, Dale Gordon of Arlington, and Parker Gordon and his wife, Anna of Arlington; two grandsons who were truly the light of her life, Oly and Carter; her parents, Les and Lou Carter; Sister, Missy McClure and husband, Chris of Canyon; Brothers, Terry Carter and wife, Jody of Lubbock, Tx; Tim Carter and wife, Wanda of Cridersville, Oh; her Mother in Law, Kay Reed of Slaton, Tx; Sister in Law, Pam Hardin and husband Sam of Bonham, Tx; Brother in Law, Robert Gordon and wife, Teri of Lubbock, Tx; Brother in Law, James Burleson and wife, D'Liesa of Levelland, Tx; nieces and nephews, and many friends, and her fur babies, Hoss and Bear.

A memorial service for Shari B'Linda Carter Gordon will be on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Hope Church of Fort Worth at 1750 Beach St. Fort Worth, Tx.
