Sharon Lynn Weatherford

Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister – a woman who was well-loved and gave back even more love to her family and friends. Sharon passed away on June 22, 2023 at her long-time home in Fort Worth at the age of 84.

Sharon was born on October 21,1938 to Marvin and Elsie Fae Wheat in Fort Worth. She attended Texas Christian University and went on to a 38-year career at Lockheed Martin. She enjoyed many things in life, including traveling, reading, camping in the mountains, knitting, piano playing, puzzle making, and especially spending time supporting and caring for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She loved cats, and along with the real ones, collected just about anything with a cat theme.

Sharon is survived by her three children, Karen Lambert, Kevin Weatherford and wife Jacquelyn, and Keith Weatherford; sister Susan Gaston and husband George; grandkids Meghan, Morgan, Crystal and Shawn; great grandkids Nicholas, Hayden, Kaitlynn, Destiny, Dalton and Kaydence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
