Ms. Shawna Marie Frazier

Sometimes it is so hard to understand, and even harder still to say, “Thy will be done,” when sorrow comes, and sadness fills the day. But our faith was meant to serve us for times just like these. So today, we take God’s hand with loving wisdom as He helps our hearts to understand, “Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1

Shawna Marie Frazier was born on September 20, 1988, to Rosie Frazier and Vernon Brisby in New Orleans, LA. She was raised in New Orleans, LA where she attended Orleans Parish school system. In 2005 The Frazier family relocated to Dallas, TX after hurricane Katrina.

Shawna was a huge fan of reality T.V., and loved to dance, in fact a dance floor hated to see her coming. She loved to talk on the phone! and could talk to you for hours at a time, she gave meaning to the phrase “talk a hole in your head”. Shawna’s one dream was to become a mother and on December 12, 2024, God blessed her with a Mommy’s Tru love!

Shawna leaves behind to cherish her memories her one and only son Tru Charles Brisby.

She was preceded in death by stepfather, Bryant Craft; Grandparents William Brisby, Charles and Barbara Frazier: three aunts, Colleen Frazier, Patrice Frazier Washington and Deanna Williams and two uncles, Kenneth Frazier and Clarence Harris.

She will also be missed by her mother, Rosie Frazier Craft; her father, Vernon (Sheila) Brisby; grandmother, Princella Roberts; two brothers: Brandon and Alvin Frazier; eight sisters: Brittany, Bryisha and Brionne Frazier, Teedra, Ashley, Tatyana and Aaliyah Brisby and Beonce Synigal; two uncles: Bobby (Karen) Brisby and Alvarez Harris; three aunts: Brenda (Herbert) Brooks, Ecko (Maurice) Drummer and Charlene Frazier Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the chapel of Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, located at 4000 Miller Ave, Fort Worth, TX with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM. Dr. W.R. Willis of Calvary Temple Community Church officiating.
