She LOVED George Straight. We danced to his music when I was a little girl. I’ll always think of her when I hear “Troubadour” or “Carrying Your Live With Me”. Those were two of her favorites. Don’t worry Gran Gran, i’ll make sure to keep all your favorite things safe and close in my heart.

Holidays with GranGran will forever and always be one of my favorite childhood memories. Holidays will never be the same without her smiling face. I’ll miss her telling us about how she got this or that on clearance at TJ Maxx and all the saving and deals she found. She was a shopper. It was one of our favorite things to do together.

Not only my GranGran, but my best friend. She told me stories of my dad and aunt when they were little and all the trouble they got into, and I remember every one. I never got tired of hearing them. She told the best stories.

She taught me how to play so many card games. Battle will forever be one of my favorites. Thank you GranGran for teaching me so many things.

She never failed to show up to any event I had. Basketball games, track meets, my high school and college graduations, birthdays and more! She was truly my biggest supporter. I thank her for that and love her so much!
