He was born in Seguin, Texas on July 12, 1935. He married the love of his life Sylvia Louise Dillinger in 1957, in Tarrant County. Tapley worked in Aerospace Manufacturing at Lockheed Martin . He was a member of the US Marine Corps and had passion for his family, nautical sports, baseball/softball, football, history and auto repair.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carnie Green Logue; mother, Adele Fortune Logue; wife, Sylvia Louise Dillinger; and sister, Joan Adele Weldon Logue.
He is survived by his son, Terry Logue, Tim Logue; daughters, Tina Homan, Toni Logue; granddaughters, Lindsey Homan, Tatum Homan; grandsons, Lucas Logue, Christopher Logue, Zackary Logue; and great granddaughters, Ella Grace and Millie Faye.
