With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Lee Humphrey on January 27, 2025. Terry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for those around him.
Born on April 19, 1958, in Crestline, Ohio, Terry lived a life full of passion and dedication. He served honorably in the United States Navy for 31 years, retiring in 2004 as a Command Master Chief. His leadership, dedication, and service to his country left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
Beyond his distinguished career, Terry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved working on projects around the house, fishing, and, above all else, spending time with family and friends. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Terry’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; his children, Amy White and husband Ricky, Brian Humphrey, Patrick Usery and wife Aletha, Brittany Grim and husband Kyle, and Danielle Roberson and husband Will. He is also survived by his brother, Chuck Humphrey and wife Kim; his sister, Linda Basore and husband Mark; and his cherished grandchildren—Alexandria, Katelyn, Savannah, Lilly, Isaiah, Rose, Wyatt, Joey, Madelyn, Liam, Emma, Mia, and Kymber—as well as his great-grandchildren, Bowen, Beckham, Clementine, and Atlas.
Terry’s funeral service will be held on February 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. at 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134, where friends and family will gather to share memories and honor his legacy.
Terry will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
