

Thelma Jean Haynes, 74, graduated to a higher place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. Thelma was born January 26, 1945 to Turven and Johnnie (Epperson) Jones in Paris, Texas. She attended school in Paris, Texas. Thelma was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Words can’t describe the life and spirit of Thelma Haynes; she was a faithful member of Christian Learning Center. She loved to cook and spend time with friends and family. Thelma loved watching sports (Cowboys) and gardening, and watching Western TV show (Gun Smoke). Thelma’s career started through auto manufacture at Volkswagen, she then went on to work many years at Revcor Molded Products and the Tandy Center. In recent years, Thelma was involved with the annual ring the bellat theSalvation ArmyRed Kettle holiday season fundraiser. She spent most of her time surrounded by family and friends. Thelma leaves to cherish precious memories and celebrate her legacy: (5) Loving children, Daughters: Mardissa Richelle Jones, Theresa Jo Haynes, Carolyn Denise Haynes, Sons: Toney Leroy Haynes, and Marcus “Ice” Haynes. Brother, Billy James Jones ; Sister, Ruby Dee Jones; Niece, Tiffany Forte-Jefferson. Thelma raised three generations. 15 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, Thelma was preceded in death by her children, Kerry Haynes and Bridgette Haynes.
