Mr. Kennedy was born in South Amboy, New Jersey but lived in Texas since 1978. He worked as the Dir. of Security for the 777 Main Street Building in Fort Worth for 18 years until he retired 10 years ago. He served in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam 1969 where he was awarded the Soldiers Metal and the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet Kennedy and 3 sisters.
Elizabeth Rimek, Kathleen Kennedy and Marie Carrano and husband, Patrick all of New Jersey, 3 brothers Kevin Kennedy and wife Karen, Daniel Kennedy and wife Patty, William Kennedy and wife Lauren all of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service is at 10AM Saturday Sept 2 at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 1659 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
