A memorial service will be held at the Watauga Methodist Church, 6112 Watauga Rd, Watauga, TX 76148 on Sunday, August 29 at 3:00 pm. Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Helen, a daughter, Debbie Weigenant and her husband Paul, 2 sons, Doug and his wife Jeannie, Larry, and David (deceased)and his wife Carla. There are ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Tom and Helen spent many years in the sewing machine business, and all of their children slowly followed in their footsteps, He never asked them to come into the business but was delighted when they asked if he would teach them, and he led them to success in operating their own business.
Tom loved his family dearly, loved the Lord and his church, Watauga Methodist, and was a dedicated servant there. Tom will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
