Thrikield "Fred" Thompson, age 77, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Monday March 2, 2020. Thrikield was born June 15, 1942 in Kildare, Texas to the parents of James and Dorothy Brown Thompson. Fred was employed as an Officer for the Tarrant County Sheriff Department.
He leaves to cherish his memory: stepson; Greg Mobley; grandson he raised as his son, Frederick Mobley; special niece and caregiver, Demetrice Sanders (Reverend Columbus); brothers, Menzie Hammick and James Hammick; sisters, Revoyer Lewis, Dorothy Hammick and Deloris Jackson; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
