Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment: 10 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Tim was born in Corpus Christi on Aug. 31, 1946, to Lakellah "Mac" and Iva Dean McKelvey. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Tim owned and ran Winchester Tile for 25 years. He loved cooking and was a history buff who loved visiting national parks and museums on family trips. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beth.
Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Clarice; daughter, Shell Taney and husband, Richie; granddaughter, Rayna; sister, Patsy Diane Majek; brother, Don McKelvey and wife, Paula; and many extended family members.
