Educated in Fort Worth I.S.D. followed by Vocational Skills training in Austin and Abilene, Texas with Betty Hardwick Center. Tommy favorites included watching The Dallas Cowboys or Scary movies in his personal space devoid of interuptions and distractions, bowling, Special Olympic participation, home baked cookies shipments, and Chinese/Pizza buffets. With changing health· concerns, Golden Corral moved in first place and family visits for holidays with meals in tow. He was proud of his Miniature Car Collection, Cowboy memorabilia and Personal Special Olympic Medals. Stray cats always could count on a meal provided by Tommy.
Shaundra Garrett began as his personal Skill Trainer creating a lasting connection and unbreakable bond. When he moved we always made sure· she was coming along with him as his Direct Care Staff member until Dec.2021. She could work miracles with him.
