Tracy Lee Bower

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 23atShannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Rachael Sandifer will be officiating. A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.

Tracy was born inGreensburg, Indiana on February 6, 1960 to Ora and Frances Vires Bower. He graduated fromGreensburg Community High School in 1978 and received aBachelor’s Degree in English fromWabash College.

Tracy married Cynthia onJanuary 9, 2007 and they were married 10 years.

Tracy worked as aField Consultant for7-Eleven for7 years. He enjoyed cooking, playing piano, his dogs Sadie and Molly, and taking care of others. He supported education and youth-serving organizations with friends and co-workers.

Tracy is survived by his wife, Cynthia; 6 children, Joshua Franklin Bower, Gregory Ryan Rudd (Darla), Jordan Chae Bower, Zacharia Christopher Colburn Smith, Alysson Blair Bower Kibodeaux (Chet), and Candace Bower; his mother, Frances Bower; his brother, Jeffrey Lane Bower (David Duncan); brother, Galen Scott Bower (Barbara LeMay); nieces and nephews, Blake Andrew Bower (Karli), Brianna Paige Bower, Charles Kenneth LeMay Bower and August Cole LeMay Bower; cousins, extended family, co-workers and friends.

Tracy is preceded in death byhis father, Ora Bower; paternal grandparents, John and Flourine Bower; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Rebecca Vires.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, the American Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tracy’s family wishes to thank the host of friends, physicians, nurses, caregivers who provided treatment and support for Tracy over the past 7 months.
