Ty’Vaughn Deiondre Napier 25, of Burleson, Texas gained his wings the early morning of May 16, 2021. He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1996 to Richard Alexander Napier, Jr. and Shakyryn Khairii Napier.
Ty’Vaughn attended and graduated from Juan Seguin High School in Arlington, Texas where he was a star football player, Homecoming King, and an AVID student. He earned a football scholarship and went on to attend college at Waylan Baptist University. He was always committed to following his dreams fiercely and unapologetically. He had a passion for fitness and bodybuilding which lead him to explore the world of MMA boxing. He thrived in this space and like everything else, poured his heart and soul into excelling. Ty’Vaughn loved mentoring youth and spent several summers as a life guard and camp counselor for underserved youth around the state of Texas.
Ty’ Vaughn knew Christ and had a personal relationship with him. He was active in his church and community. Although he was a quiet soul and a man of few words, his presence spoke volumes. His infectious soul impacted all who were blessed to know him. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle. We our eternally grateful that God seen fit to allow us to experience him for just a moment. Our lives will be forever changed from this honor and blessing. He will be terribly missed.
Ty’ Vaughn is survived by his loving parents, Richard Alexander Napier, Jr., and Shakyryn Khairii Napier. His brothers Alan-Michael Meyers, Terell Napier, and Kalen Napier, and his sister Anisa La’chelle Napier, and precious niece Ahlani Dominique Baldwin. Grandmothers, Susan Cheeks and Helen Napier. Grandfather, Richard Alexander Napier, Sr. Uncles, Kelly Eugene Napier, DuWayne Russel Napier, William Alexander Napier, Samuel Cheeks and Haji Jacobs. Aunts Kimberly Napier-Williams, La Donna Elaine Moss, Kisha Napier, and Erica Napier. Also survived by a host of cousins and extended family whom are present today in person and spirit.
Ty’ Vaughn is proceeded in death by his great grandmother Ruth Bryant, his uncle Arthur Lee Cheeks, Jr.
