Vanita was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., June 11, 1931. She married D. Paul Clark Sept. 25, 1950. Paul and Vanita were engaged in pastoral ministry for nearly 60 years. She served as organist and pianist during those years.
She was preceded in death by her father, A.J. McGill, and her mother, Lottie O. McGill.
Survivors: Husband, D. Paul Clark; daughters, Paula Lopez of Fort Worth and Debbie Boyd of McKinney; grandchildren, Casey Graves of Tulsa, Okla., Marcus Strange of Fort Worth, Lani Dunn of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Charli and Chloe Graves of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Rocena White of Seatac, Wash.; niece, Pam Henson of Seattle; nephews, Rev. Lynn White of Seatac, Wash., and Gary White of Langley, Wash.; many other relatives and friends; and her beloved puppy, Snuggles.
