Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land.
Verna was raised in Fort Worth and graduated from Paschal High School. She married Robert Moore and together they raised three children. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, decorating, reading and keeping up with current events. Verna loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Robert Moore; her parents; and her siblings.
Survivors: Sons, Robert (Sherry), Larry (Kim), Scott (Tammy); 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
