Ronny was a one-of-a-kind man who lived his life with integrity, humor, self sacrifice, and an unwavering love for Jesus and the people around him.
In 1960, he joined the United States Army. He served as an Army Ranger during his enlisted time and was honorably discharged. His dedication to his country was just one reflection of the character he carried throughout his entire life.
Ronny was truly a jack of all trades—and somehow, a true master of them all. There was very little he could not do, fix, or create. He was a hard worker and in the eyes of his family, and friends there simply was nothing Ronny could not accomplish.
Ronny was an amazing son, brother, uncle, friend, father, and husband. He was devoted to his wife, Mary Ann, and they shared more than 40 years together.
Ronny will always be known for his mischievous side. He was a shameless, ornery jokester who never missed an opportunity to pull a prank on family or friends. His sense of humor, his quick wit, and his ability to make people laugh were a gift that will be remembered and missed.
He loved people well. He loved Jesus. He worked hard. He served faithfully. He gave generously of his time, his talents, and his heart. He was the kind of man people could count on.
Ronny leaves behind an enormous legacy of love and memories. He was deeply loved by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he will be missed more deeply than words can express, he will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. To know him was to love him. And to have been loved by him was a gift.
